Resolved: In a democracy, voting should be mandatory

Mandatory Voting in a Democracy: Mandatory voting means that everyone who is eligible to vote is required by law to do so, like in Australia. Supporters believe it leads to fairer elections, while opponents worry it might cause uninformed voting and unnecessary government interference.
